Role: Rigid Driver Salary: €40,000 - €43,350 Duration: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Limerick Benefits: Death in Service, company pension scheme, career progression, on-the-job training and EAP. Rigid Driver Thriving logistics and distribution company based in Limerick is currently seeking several dependable and experienced Rigid Driver to join its expanding team. This full-time role offers a structured work pattern across five days over seven, with start times from 5:00 AM, depending on the assigned route. The position involves the safe and timely delivery of goods to commercial customers across the province, requiring excellent timekeeping and route management skills. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed rigid drivers who are committed to delivering a high standard of service and safety on the road. Candidates must complete a successful driving assessment, pass a health screening questionnaire, and attend a face-to-face interview before starting. Responsibilities: Complete multi-drop deliveries in a rigid vehicle across Limerick and surrounding areas Carry out daily vehicle checks in line with safety and compliance requirements Load and unload goods safely, ensuring all paperwork and deliveries are completed correctly Maintain high standards of customer service when interacting with clients Adhere to road safety regulations and company driving policies Communicate effectively with transport planners and warehouse teams to ensure delivery schedules are met Report any vehicle defects or issues promptly Requirements: Full, valid C Licence (Rigid) Valid Digital Tachograph (Taco) Card Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) certification Proven experience in a similar rigid driving role is preferred Flexibility with working hours across a 5days -over a 7 day shift pattern Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to pass a driving assessment, health screening questionnaire and face-to-face interview Good physical health for manual handling and working on the move What to do next: If youre interested in this role, click apply now.
