Summary: Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company in Tipperary, is seeking an DeltaV Engineer. The ideal candidate will be required to work closely with the teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of DeltaV DCS. Responsibilities: Write User requirements for DeltaV modules. Review and Approve related Design Documentation. Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system. Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development. Participate in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testing. Follow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM Change control, Implementation and test). Ensure software is implemented in a safe fashion with quality a necessary output. Configuring and testing in development system as required. Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes. Partner with internal Digital departments ensuring standard and secure implementation in line with our clients Standards. Qualifications & Experience: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree. Training completed in DeltaV standard and batch. Minimum 3 years of experience in DeltaV application. Experience commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities. Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects. Excellent understanding of cGMP's, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ Sigma principles.
