Job Description

As a UI Designer, you will focus on visual designs in collaboration with UX Designers and our Design System teams. You are an advocate of user-centered-design principles, with a natural curiosity to understand people and how they interact with products. You’re a system-thinker and are passionate about furthering our Design System while leveraging it to ensure consistency across the product suite. You are a team player who enjoys working and brainstorming with other designers, software developers, and managers.

In this role, you will focus on collaborating with the UX design team to turn their wireframes into final UI assets and work closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation. As part of a multidisciplinary team, our Designers must be able to multitask, work under pressure, and have a strong focus on even the smallest details. We are diligent, so our customers find the same reliability in our UI that has been the hallmark of our hardware for years.

Basic Requirements

- 5+ years of professional experience in UI design, preferably at a company focused on designing and delivering SaaS solutions.
- You have a passion for, and knowledge of, type, color, and iconography with a keen eye for visual balance and harmony.
- You know how to work with Design Systems - how to use, modify, extend and contribute to the existing ecosystem.
- You can partner closely with software development to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
- You collaborate with UX designers to achieve the highest quality user experience given product requirements and constraints.
- You pay almost fanatically close attention to every detail.
- You have strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- You have an exceptional portfolio of work that demonstrates the ability to design and maintain high quality, consistent user interface designs.

Additional Requirements

- A proven track record of strategic thinking reflected in your ability to speak about design with clarity and conviction.
- Mastery of design tools, including their use in library management and prototype construction. Preference given to applicants with deep knowledge of Figma.
- Functional knowledge of code and experience working directly with developers is a benefit.
- Understanding of the impact of designing for native environments such as Android, iOS and Windows is a plus.
