24 Months, Fixed-Term, Whole-time Post Position Summary The Medical Education Unit, School of Medicine UCC is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Researcher to work on a Health Research Board funded project. The project is an interdisciplinary collaboration with partners in the health and higher education sectors across Ireland. The research focuses on educating healthcare professionals to address the planetary crisis in their daily practice. Individual studies include literature reviews, large-scale survey, interview/focus groups studies, co-design, consensus building, implementation and evaluation studies. These posts are suitable for newly qualified PhD's in areas such as health professions' education, sustainability education, health services research, public health, psychology, sociology, etc. Experience of realist methods is an advantage but training in specific methodologies will be provided as required. Further opportunities for professional development will be provided by the UCC Post-Doctoral Development Hub. The Post-Doctoral researcher will be part of a team of six full-time research staff and a part-time research administrator under the supervision of Professor Deirdre Bennett. Key duties and responsibilities are outlined below. This post requires an on-site presence at UCC. UCC Remote Working Policy will apply.
