Our client is one of the biggest construction contractors internationally, with its annual turnover increasing year on year. The current opportunity is for an intermediate Site Engineer to join an already established project and team, working on one of the largest projects in the country. Their client book is strong and promises security, working nationally on some of the largest flagship projects through to 2028. The order book / projects to tender can boast a number of projects within construction: Life Sciences / Pharma, Commercial and Data Centres.

Responsibilities

- Set out the construction works on site and ensure that all works are completed in line with project drawings, specifications and engineering regulations.

- Act as a point of contact with consultants and quantity surveyors, communicating clearly and effectively.

- Identify information gaps in the market and develop solutions in conjunction with the site and design team in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 2 years relevant experience as a Site Engineer.

- Experience working on medium – large projects.

- Knowledge and understanding of construction techniques; competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, and temporary works coordination.

- Willingness to learn and develop within the company.

- Experience using TotalStation and good administrative, report writing and IT skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
