We’re now looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team in Limerick.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of energy projects (HVAC, compressed air, steam, refrigeration, heat recovery, cooling).
- Develop specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
- Partner with clients to scope projects and present solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative technical team.
- Drive innovation in energy efficiency and decarbonisation.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (7+ years’ experience).
- Strong knowledge of utilities design – thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer.
- Experience with industrial utilities (chillers, boilers, AHUs, heat exchangers).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit; energy modelling a plus.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards it (desirable).
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients.
- Full clean driving licence + willingness to travel to sites.
