QA Associate
About the Role:
The Batch Disposition IV role is a critical position that safeguards product integrity and compliance at Takeda. Leveraging advanced technical expertise and independent problem-solving, you will ensure processes meet rigorous quality standards while serving as a trusted resource for colleagues. Your work directly contributes to patient safety, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality therapies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and specify activities, processes, and standards to meet quality requirements
- Audit and monitor processes to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
- Report on and assist in process deviations and defects investigations
- Provide assistance and training to lower-level employees
- Collaborate within and outside the department to solve complex problems
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices in routine settings
What You Bring to Takeda:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent; third-level qualification in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related Life Science discipline is an advantage
- 3–5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry; background in Manufacturing or Quality is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, with practical application in controlled, routine settings under supervision
- Demonstrated use of safety assurance principles, essential safety concepts, and Quality Management System fundamentals
- Skilled in applying quality control principles, maintaining high standards, and paying close attention to detail
- Ability to make informed decisions under supervision, using basic evaluative and analytical skills
- Effective organization, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple activities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, producing clear reports and concise documentation, while developing further through feedback and coaching
- Collaborative and adaptable, able to develop skills through ongoing guidance while contributing independently to routine tasks
