Personal Lines New Business Sales Executive – Thurles

This permanent role is based in Thurles. We are seeking a personal lines new business sales executive for our team. The role will consist of providing advice on car, home & van insurance new business sales, customer service and administration. Cross-selling referrals for the Life & Pensions and Health arms of our business are expected. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated and disciplined with a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

- Overcoming objections, closing sales.
- Chasing leads provided by the marketing team.
- Updating customer information in line with GDPR guidelines and Compliance.
- Issuing motor, home and van insurance quotes on both an inbound and outbound basis
- Dealing with customer queries
- Cross selling Insurance Products
- Meeting and exceeding monthly targets for both quotations issued and sales closed
- Setting up client accounts and ensuring relevant customer documentation is accurate.
- Noticing changes in customer details and updating the system accordingly.
- Reporting rate increases to team leader/manager monthly and customer feed-back.

Requirements:

- CIP, APA Personal General or grandfathered qualification
- 2+ years insurance experience preferably in a brokerage
- Have a clear focus on sales & wish to build their career in this area
- Be committed to provide a high level of service to customers & potential customers
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
