We are looking for an IT support analyst to be the front-door to technology services for the organisation. You will help increase business productivity by taking a customer-focused, proactive and collaborative approach to anticipating and resolving technology issues. You will provide support and technical expertise across hardware, software, peripherals and projects.

Working under the guidance of the local service lead, you will be part of a larger team providing customer-focused digital services to Arup globally. This is a full-time, level 2 support role in a typical IT support infrastructure with a business-focused mindset.

Acting as client liaison for Digital Technology-related requests from staff, serving as first line of engagement to understand and address issues around desktop (Windows, Office 365, etc.) and infrastructure (compute, storage, network, cloud services, cyber security, etc.), escalating to other Digital Technology teams as needed.

Providing value-added services to the business, working with leadership to drive technology and transform business activities.

Configuring, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecoms equipment.

Solving problems related to hardware, software and services (e.g., video conferencing, remote access), determining sources, priority and nature, and escalating as appropriate.

Managing service tickets, documenting procedures, adhering to ITIL policies, supporting software asset management, and sharing knowledge to promote best technology practices.

Assisting the software asset management team with license management and version control.

Providing communications and training around technical change and contributing to an inclusive team environment.

Working with minimal direct guidance within a defined area of responsibility and representing the team at external meetings or internal projects of some complexity.

Qualifications

Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or similar area.

Significant experience providing desktop support services in a Microsoft environment within a regional or global organisation.

Proficiency with personal computing (HP, Mac, etc.), mobile computing (iPhone, iPad, Samsung, etc.), Windows OS, Mac OS (limited), Microsoft 365 and related services (OneDrive, Teams), and cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS). Familiarity with video conferencing hardware/software and office printers/copiers depending on policy.

Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management systems. Some experience in a professional services organisation. Strong technical aptitude with a track record of developing technical knowledge and applying new skills in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble, Adobe, Bluebeam, Cisco, Symantec, etc.

Technical certification in Information Technology is desirable.
