Location: County Offaly Salary: €36 - €39 per hour (DOE) / €65,520 - €70,000 per annum Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term Contract Start Date: Flexible About the Role We are seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated team at a Community Nursing Unit (CNU) in Co. Offaly. This role involves supporting elderly residents to maintain independence and quality of life through assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation. Previous experience working with older adults in acute or community settings is desirable but not essential. Key Responsibilities Assess residents' functional abilities and create tailored care and rehabilitation plans Implement and review treatment programmes to promote independence and well-being Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care Educate and support residents, families, and caregivers on daily living strategies and equipment use Carry out occasional outreach visits to a nearby CNU Requirements Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist CORU registration essential Full, clean driving licence required for outreach work Experience with elderly patients desirable but not essential Strong communication and teamwork skills What We Offer Competitive hourly rate: €36 - €39 DOE Equivalent annual salary: €65,520 - €70,000 Supportive, community-focused team environment Flexible start dates Opportunities for professional development and career growth How to Apply If you are passionate about improving the lives of older adults, send your CV For more information, call .
