Alpine Recruitment have partnered with a growing Tier 2 Irish-based construction services company who seek to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their project team in Cork, Ireland.

Job Description – Project Quantity Surveyor
Manage project cost aspects, collaborate for budget compliance, conduct thorough cost analysis, and provide financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee cost-related aspects of construction project, from estimation to final accounting.
2. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients.
3. Provide precise and timely financial reporting.
4. Facilitate procurement processes to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
5. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
6. Implement cost-saving strategies and adjustments to project plans when necessary.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of construction Quantity Surveyor experience.
2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field.
3. Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office.
4. Strong knowledge of construction regulations and standards.
5. Strong analytical and communication skills.
