Overview

Roundtower Productions - Assistant Producer

Roundtower Productions is on the lookout for an assistant producer to join the team of their upcoming independent feature film on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the producer/director to help plan logistics and schedules around the upcoming shoots that will take place over a number of short blocks due to the nature of the project. Filming will predominantly take place across Wicklow, so candidates should have a drivers licence.

Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, a lover of film with strong Excel skills and 1-2 years’ experience in a production company or freelance having worked on feature films, TV or documentaries.

Responsibilities

- Assist the producer/director in planning logistics and scheduling for shoots spread over multiple short blocks.

- Coordinate production tasks, timelines, and resources to support on-location filming in Wicklow.

- Support communication between department heads and crew; monitor progress against the schedule.

Qualifications

- 1-2 years’ experience in a production company or freelance work on feature films, TV or documentaries.

- Strong Excel skills.

- Self-motivated with a passion for film; valid driver’s license; ability to travel to Wicklow.
