Third-Party Security Risk Consultant Location: Dublin Type: Permanent | €55,000 - €75,000 A consultancy-focused organisation in Dublin is expanding its security risk function and is looking for someone with experience in assessing third-party security controls and helping clients strengthen their supplier risk processes. This role suits someone who enjoys working across multiple environments, guiding organisations on best practice, and supporting the build-out of structured security assessment programmes. You'll work alongside internal security teams and client stakeholders to review third-party risks, evaluate control maturity, and provide clear and practical guidance. What You'll Be Doing Support the rollout and improvement of third-party risk assessment programmes for a mix of client environments. Carry out detailed reviews of vendor security controls and identify where improvements are required. Help clients understand their risk exposure and provide straightforward, actionable remediation steps. Contribute to ongoing managed security engagements, supporting daily operations and scheduled assessments. Keep informed on changes in security standards, supplier risk trends, and regulatory expectations. Assist with the design of assessment processes and help ensure consistency across multiple clients. Work closely with technical and non-technical teams to ensure projects run smoothly and meet expectations. What You Should Bring Around 3+ years' experience in information security, risk, or consulting roles with exposure to supplier or control assessments. Strong understanding of core security domains - access management, network controls, data protection, and secure configuration. Experience working with risk platforms or governance tools (any vendor). Comfort interpreting security requirements, identifying gaps, and outlining remediation plans. Ability to manage multiple pieces of work at once and communicate clearly with clients. Curiosity, strong analytical thinking, and confidence working in a delivery-focused consulting environment.
