As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Dublin.

The Senior Accounts Manager will implement the company’s accounting and financial reporting activities. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the company's financial statements are accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The Senior Accountant will also maintain and develop areas of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and internal controls.

As a Senior Accountant, your main responsibilities will be;

* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Manage the submission of group VAT returns
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
* Analyse financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Budgeting & Forecasting

* Contribute to the annual budgeting process and manage forecasts.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Internal Controls and Compliance

* Maintain a robust internal control environment to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
* Ensure compliance with all local and national regulations regarding financial operations.
* Coordinate the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, the internal finance team and the finance committee of the Board of Directors; assess any changes necessary.

Cash Flow Management

* Manage the company's cash flow and working capital to ensure sufficient liquidity.
* Oversee treasury operations, including banking relationships and investment

Qualifications;

* ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with 7-10 years' experience
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field
* Strong knowledge of IFRS financial statement preparation
* Proficiency and hands-on experience of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Xero accounting system is preferred) Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orient
