Training Specialist

The Training Specialist is accountable for the design and delivery of all appropriate Training Courses for Covalen. The Training Specialist will work closely with Covalen Management and teams to ensure that all training and goals and objectives of the accounts are met and delivered. This is an interactive role fulfilling front-line and advisory functions. Work closely with management to support and drive results of teams.

The Training Specialist will be working within and promoting the Company Values – Be Brave, Be Wise, Be Proud and Exceed.

Responsibilities

- Implementation and delivery of new and existing Training and policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all staff trained have the required knowledge once training is rolled out and complete.
- Managing training occupancy and following up where necessary on attendance issues.
- Ensure that all new starters receive adequate training according to their role and their desk.
- Ensures that all curriculum, training materials, and training plans/schedules are up to date.
- Ensure that all handbooks, procedures, tools & systems are up to date.
- Escalate any training issues with Management, e.g., Misuse of Go-Live procedure.

Duties:

- Designs and delivers training courses for Covalen.
- Develops and implements all required programs in line with Covalen objectives.
- Prepares training material and documents.
- Plans, designs, and delivers applicable New-Hire initial training and delivers all relevant product and technical tools training.
- Conducts Training Needs Analysis across the business where required.
- Identifies trends and areas of opportunity to drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
- Serves as the point of contact for all training issues for assigned accounts.
- Produces standard and ad-hoc training reports as requested.
- Acts as a mentor to all Coaches / Trainers / assessors within the business to assist them in the development and support of all staff.
- Any training related administration tasks.
- Work in partnership with Operations and all support functions to ensure delivery to the business.

Technical Requirements:

· Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

· Experience with LMS tools advantageous.

· Solution driven individual.

Candidate Experience:

- Minimum 1 year experience in a L&D or training.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively; must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and execute decision with judgment and discretion
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work and train in a multi-cultural environment.
- Training experience in both delivery and design is preferable.
- Ability to organize and follow-up on multiple tasks/details with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to lead and motivate others in the delivery of all necessary training throughout the company.
- Proven ability to identify, assess and prescribe developmental activities to improve performance.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficient in all MS Office Packages particularly MS Power-point.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
