Project Manager Location: Waterford, Ireland Salary:Up to €100k Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time A long-established developer with a strong track record across the South East is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of several upcoming developments in Waterford. The company delivers high-quality mixed residential, multi-storey student accommodation, and commercial office schemes, managing projects from initial design through to handover. Role Overview: The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, managing all on-site activities, programme, cost, and quality. Working closely with the development and engineering teams, youll ensure each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the companys high standards of finish. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day management of construction activities across assigned projects. Develop, monitor, and control project programmes, budgets, and resource plans. Coordinate design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Chair progress and coordination meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants. Manage health, safety, and quality compliance on site. Provide leadership and mentorship to site teams and engineers. Liaise with the development team and external stakeholders to resolve design, sequencing, or delivery issues promptly. Oversee project handover, ensuring all documentation, commissioning, and client requirements are completed to a high standard. Requirements: Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 7+ years experience within a main contracting environment. Proven track record delivering residential or mixed-use projects, with multi-storey or RC frame experience advantageous. Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills. Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and subcontractor relationships effectively. Proactive approach with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.
