As a Solution Architect at PTSB, you will be responsible for the overall design and structure of data and analytics solutions that addresses a specific business problem or need, encompassing multiple systems, applications, and technologies that work together to form a complete solution. Your role involves creating a robust framework that aligns with the bank's strategic goals and technological capabilities, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and oversee the development and integration of these solutions within the bank's existing infrastructure. Responsibilities: Manage the development of high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility. Oversee the development of high-level product and solution specifications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, system integration requirements, and technical feasibility. Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architectural solutions that support strategic objectives. Lead the evaluation, selection, and adoption of technologies, platforms, and frameworks, balancing innovation with long-term sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Ensure enterprise-wide data integrity, security, and availability, embedding best practices in data governance, compliance, and risk mitigation across all systems. Design and support delivery of innovative, end-to-end data and analytics solutions that are aligned with business goals, ensuring performance, scalability, and interoperability. Manage the integration of heterogeneous systems, enabling seamless data flow and operational efficiency across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. Requirements: Proven experience as a solution architect designing enterprise data solutions. Experience in coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java, etc.). Knowledge of software and application design and architecture. Knowledge of UML and other modeling methods. Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design. Understanding of software quality assurance principles. A technical mindset with great attention to detail. High-quality organizational and leadership skills. Outstanding communication and presentation abilities. At least 5 years? experience in a similar role. This is a permanent role based in Dublin/Cork Is this you?
