The Role
An experienced Senior Engineer is required for a major project in the Munster region. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to play a key part in delivering high-quality construction projects to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
You will be responsible for managing all engineering aspects on site, including planning, coordination, and supervision, while supporting junior engineers and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements. Concrete frame and building experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and mentor Junior Engineers and oversee subcontractor performance.

Set out works from engineers’ drawings and complete site surveys and as-built documentation.

Interpret technical drawings, layouts, and material measurements.

Plan site works efficiently to meet programme targets.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and design team members as required.

Ensure all works comply with the highest Health & Safety and quality standards.

Manage material orders and stock control on site.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records and reports.
Requirements

Third-level qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a construction engineering role.

Strong background in concrete frame and building projects.

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
-
Proficiency in relevant IT and engineering software.
-
Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Full clean driving licence.
