Our leading client in the motor industry are looking to add to their team. We are currently hiring for a workshop controller based in Dublin 11. Role: In this role, you will be looking after the operations and day-to-day duties within the workshop. You will be responsible for delegating work to technicians, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Responsibilities: Oversee the workshops daily operations, ensuring smooth scheduling and optimal efficiency. Work closely with service advisors to manage customer updates and requirements. Distribute tasks to technicians according to their expertise and current workload. Provide guidance on complex diagnostics and repair issues when needed. Carry out final inspections to maintain quality standards and promptly address technical concerns. Uphold all health, safety, and environmental regulations across the workshop. Inspire, coach, and lead the team to consistently achieve high performance and service excellence. Requirements: Recognised automotive technical qualification with strong diagnostic knowledge. Solid background in workshop leadership or coordination, ideally gained with a premium automotive brand. Excellent grasp of workshop processes, quality standards, and technical procedures. Strong organisational ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment. Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with customers, technicians, and suppliers. Proficient in IT systems including MS Office, DMS platforms, and diagnostic software. Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement.
