Speech & Language Therapist - Paediatrics (Cavan & Monaghan) Salary: €40 - €50 per Hour Location: Cavan & Monaghan - Various Paediatric Services Contract: Full-time, part-time, Long-term Locum About the Role Emerald Locums are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech & Language Therapist for a number of paediatric services across Cavan & Monaghan. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact supporting children and families across both community and clinic-based settings. You'll work as part of supportive multidisciplinary teams delivering high-quality assessment and intervention services, with flexibility and strong professional support from both the client and Emerald Locums. Key Responsibilities * Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for children presenting with a range of communication needs * Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with families and professionals * Liaise effectively with colleagues across disciplines including OT, Physiotherapy, Psychology, and Social Work * Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with HSE and professional standards * Participate in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and service improvement initiatives Requirements * CORU registration as a Speech & Language Therapist (essential) * Recognised degree in Speech & Language Therapy * Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience working with children * Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload * Car and full driving licence preferred (community travel may be required) Benefits * Competitive salary: €70,000 - €80,000 per annum (DOE) * Long-term stability with flexible locum arrangements * Supportive multidisciplinary environments * Ongoing training and CPD opportunities * Excellent work-life balance How to Apply Please send your CV and a short cover note outlining your paediatric experience and availability.
