Purpose of the Role

In this role as a Trauma Clinical Specialist, you will work with a Sales Specialist to support and service customers. You will become an integral part of the sales team, maintaining an existing customer base and developing new customers to help deliver the best possible care to their patients.

What to Expect:

- Provide in-theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of products.
- Offer accurate information on all products and their indications (e.g., surgical techniques) to orthopaedic consultants and nursing staff.
- Deliver first-class service and seamless supply to customers, including training, stock checks, timely deliveries, and theatre support to ensure successful operations.
- Assist in the promotion and correct use of orthopaedic products through regular, organised customer education meetings and training sessions.
- Identify and develop business opportunities in Key Focus Accounts, communicate with the Sales Specialist, and support successful conversions.
- Support medical education events related to orthopaedics.
- Achieve business goals in line with company values.
- Promote the use of the product portfolio and services to orthopaedic surgeons and theatre staff.
- Maintain and grow the business as defined by the individual business plan and Key Opinion Leader targets.
- Build and develop relationships with clinical stakeholders.
- Develop a portfolio of territory Key Opinion Leaders across the product portfolio.
- Cover surgical cases as required to support regional colleagues.

Qualifications:

- Experience in orthopaedics or sports medicine.
- Working knowledge of the theatre environment and HSE.
- Relevant background in health sciences, anatomy, and/or arthroscopy.
- Clinical qualification (e.g., ODP, RGN, Physiotherapy) or a degree in science, sports science, business, or technology.
