Reliability Specialist – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Location: Cork, Ireland

Type: Full-time, Contract 11 months

A leading multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer isseeking a Reliability Specialist to join its Engineering Centre ofExcellence. This is a high-impact role focused on driving asset performance,optimising maintenance strategies, and supporting production reliability acrossa highly regulated site.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadthe development and implementation of asset maintenance strategies toensure reliable plant and equipment performance.

- Analyseequipment performance and maintenance data to identify recurring issuesand deliver long-term engineering solutions.

- Overseepredictive and condition-based maintenance programmes (e.g., vibration,thermography) and interpret results to guide decisions.

- Supportcontinuous improvement initiatives, integrating digital tools and smartmaintenance practices.

- Collaboratewith production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues andensure efficient project delivery.

- Providetechnical expertise to optimise maintenance planning, cost management, andresource utilisation.

- Ensurecompliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards in allmaintenance activities.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

- Degreein Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

- Minimum5 years’ relevant professional experience, ideally with 3+ years in areliability or maintenance engineering role.

- Strongexperience with CMMS systems and data analysis tools.

- Provenability to diagnose equipment issues, implement solutions, and drivecontinuous improvement.

- Excellentstakeholder management and communication skills, with experiencecollaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

- Familiaritywith cGMP or regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage.
