Job Description:
Oliver James are seeking an experienced Senior React Engineer for a 6-month contract to join an experienced payments company with a focus in the hospitality space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining scalable React applications, along with a deep understanding of front-end best practices and modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain complex React applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.
3. Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
4. Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
5. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience (5+ years) with React, JavaScript, and modern front-end technologies.
2. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
3. Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and agile development practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
