Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Risk Analyst to join our team to play a crucial role in the Bank's liquidity and funding risk management. You will work closely with teams across Finance, Treasury, Risk and Audit to ensure the Bank maintains robust risk management practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a keen interest in financial risk, regulatory frameworks, and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

Internal & Regulatory Reporting

1. Support the production of reporting both internally to ALMC and externally to the regulator (LCR, NSFR, ALMM).
2. Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
3. Continuously review and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.

ILAAP & Liquidity Risk Management

1. Assist in the development and enhancement of the Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP), ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and best practices.
2. Gather, analyse, and interpret data to support liquidity risk assessments, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, treasury, and risk to enhance the Bank's liquidity risk framework.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

1. Work closely with colleagues across the Bank to ensure a consistent and well-informed approach to liquidity and funding risk management.
2. Build strong relationships across the business to gather the necessary information for reporting and risk analysis.
3. Present findings and reports to senior stakeholders, ensuring complex financial risk topics are communicated clearly and concisely.

Desirable Experience

Experience listed below is preferable but not essential.

1. 3+ Years experience working in Financial Services
2. Regulatory Reporting experience with a focus on liquidity (LCR and NSFR) with a proven record of meeting strict internal reporting deadlines.
3. A solid understanding of liquidity risk management and background knowledge of Treasury operations.
4. Experience producing, reviewing, or contributing to ILAAP and ICAAP, or Pillar 3.
5. Experience researching and interpreting CRR (Capital Requirements Regulator), CRD (Capital Requirements Directive) or Basel.
6. Audit experience in terms of being subject to or working as an auditor.
7. Strong proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
