A growing design consultancy based in Citywest, Dublin, is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team. The company specialises in delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for both Commercial and Residential projects across Ireland. The Junior Electrical Engineer will support the design and implementation of electrical systems for commercial and residential projects. This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain design experience, develop technical skills, and work alongside a team of experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for commercial and residential projects
2. Work closely with senior engineers to ensure that designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations
3. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation under the guidance of senior team members
4. Participate in site visits to assist with monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with design plans
5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to contribute to successful project delivery
6. Stay informed on industry developments and best practices to continually improve technical expertise

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
2. 1-2 years of experience in electrical design
3. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and design principles. Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills
5. Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving
6. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage time effectively
