The Opportunity

Join our Building Engineering team in Limerick and contribute to impactful projects across Ireland and Europe. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career development and the chance to work on cutting-edge structural engineering projects.

As a Structural Engineer at Arup, you will:

- Undertake the structural engineering design for projects, from concept to detailed and construction, reporting to senior engineers and project managers.
- Coordinate through the design process and integrate with associated design requirements from various design partners.
- Prepare structural calculations, reports and specifications, supporting the delivery of designs through the construction process.
- Work independently and be responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own work.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual with a passion for structural engineering and a commitment to sustainable design. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:

- Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in structural design.
- Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or similar. MEng or equivalent preferred.

We also value:

- Excellent communication and report writing skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Experience dealing with contractors queries and attendance at site meetings.
- Proficiency in relevant design software packages.
