Enable Ireland is an equal opportunities employer and has been recognised as a best employer in 2024. We are seeking a highly motivated 2 x Staff Nurse (RNID) to join our team at Hazeldene Children’s Respite House, Barefield, Ennis, Co. Clare.

Salary Scale: €34,492 - €50,362 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to Long Service Increments (LSI).

Note: This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 under the recent WRC agreement for enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.

Overview of the Post

To provide residential respite to families of children and young adults with disabilities in Clare. The service will be coordinated by the RRM/Service Coordinator, who will prioritise families for involvement and agree the type and level of support with each family. The Nurse will be supervised by and work closely with the RRM. To provide a flexible service, the Nurse will be required to work during evenings and weekends.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

- Have a nursing RNID qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland
- Have current Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Experience of working in a person-centred health or social care setting
- Experience enabling nursing duties as required
- Possess a full clean driving license
- Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience
- ‘D1’ license an advantage or be prepared to obtain a ‘D’ or ‘D1’ license
- Experience of working with adults or children with disabilities desirable
- Experience of working within a residential/respite setting an advantage
