Network Engineer Location : Dublin Job Type: Contract 6+ months The Role This position will involve administrating (installation, configuration, and maintenance) the network and hardware infrastructure environment. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: This position will involve both software and hardware administration, so the right candidate will need to have the flexibility required to make the shift back and forth. Hardware administration will involve introducing new equipment to the network; ground-up network design experience not required. Experience in the following will be very useful: Routing and switching Data center architecture WAN Accelerators SDWAN Experience in Handling multiple network vendors related to: Cisco Arista Aruba switches, Data center equipment Aruba wireless Silverpeak SDWAN Riverbed WAN Accelerators PaloAlto Fortinet Your responsibilities:(Up to 10,Avoid repetition) Installation & Configuration Troubleshooting Liasing with various teams BOM creation Maintain SLAs Ticket Handling Issue fixes Essential skills/knowledge/experience:(Up to 10,Avoid repetition) Experience in Handling multiple network vendors related to: Cisco Arista Aruba switches, Data center equipment Aruba wireless Silverpeak SDWAN Riverbed WAN Accelerators PaloAlto Fortinet Should have CCNA/CCNP certifications Desirableskills/knowledge/experience:(As applicable) Very good communication skill Multi-stakeholder management Leadership skill Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
