Overview
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to join our client's team in Cavan. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive training professional with a passion for compliance, operational excellence, and helping people realise their potential.
The successful candidate will have 3–5 years' experience in a similar Learning & Development role within a manufacturing or production environment — ideally in manufacturing or a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and delivery of training programmes tailored to various roles within Operations.
Ensure all training activities are fully compliant with Health and safety, quality, and health & safety standards.
Build training capability across the business through coaching, train-the-trainer programmes, and best practice sharing.
Maintain accurate training records to meet audit, regulatory, and internal requirements.
Partner with managers to identify current and future training needs aligned with operational objectives.
Support business-critical projects, including onboarding, process improvement, and site initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, safety, and professional development across the site.
Requirements
Essential:
3–5 years' experience in a Learning & Development role in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience in a highly regulated production setting.
Strong understanding of compliance with health and safety, quality, and operational training standards.
Proven ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training priorities simultaneously.
Desirable:
Experience delivering train-the-trainer programmes.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience working with training record systems for audit and regulatory compliance.

Ability to design and deliver engaging, practical training with measurable outcomes.
