Senior Speech and Language Therapist – Co. Laois

Cpl Healthcare, partnership with our client, the HSE are recruiting for a Senior SLT to work with a mixed Community Caseload for Adult in Primary Care, South Laois.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a Primary Healthcare multi-disciplinary team to provide a quality speech and language therapy service to over 18-year-olds who have acquired communication difficulties (for example, after having a stroke or neurological diagnosis), acquired swallowing difficulties or voice difficulties.

• Provide assessment, diagnosis and therapy for adults with a range of acquired communication or swallowing difficulties, for example dysphagia.

The Candidate:

• A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy with CORU registration

• 3 years post graduate experience working with adult ideally in the area of acquired communication difficulties (e.g., aphasia, dysarthria), acquired swallowing difficulties (i.e., dysphagia) and voice difficulties

• Permission to work in Ireland

• Professional approach to work

• Full driver’s licence and access to own vehicle desirable
