
Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of the on-site workforce, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards at all times.
- Perform quality control inspections and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site and manage logistics.
- Provide technical support and guidance on the installation of HVAC and pipework systems.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed as per client requirements.
- Report on progress, issues, and any delays to the project manager or senior site management team.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, with a focus on HVAC and pipework mechanical installation.
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation techniques and systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in construction and mechanical installation projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and liaise with clients.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) preferred.
- Previous experience with commercial and industrial HVAC systems would be a significant advantage.
