Overview Are you a hands-on Design Engineer with a passion for mechanical innovation? A growing engineering firm based in Banbridge is seeking a Junior / Intermediate Design Engineer to join their team. Specialising in the design and build of food processing machinery, this company serves clients across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of bespoke machinery-from concept to commissioning. Responsibilities Design food processing machinery using SolidWorks Create proof-of-concept models using 3D printing Issue drawings to fabricators and manage part selection and ordering Monitor build quality and progress through to dispatch Write user manuals and manage spares Participate in on-site commissioning of machinery when required Criteria Proficient in SolidWorks Experience with 3D printing Strong decision-making and time management skills Comfortable working in a small office environment Third-level qualification or equivalent experience Willingness to travel abroad Full passport and driving licence Competent in Microsoft Office Must live within commuting distance to Banbridge Reward Competitive salary Casual dress environment Company pension On-site parking Monday to Friday schedule If you're ready to take ownership of exciting design projects and grow your engineering career in a dynamic and supportive environment, we want to hear from you.
