They are now seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Cost Manager to join their dynamic team and drive sustainable cost management strategies for their diverse portfolio of projects.

Role Overview:

As a Sustainability Cost Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our client’s projects are not only financially efficient but also environmentally responsible. You will collaborate closely with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to implement sustainable practices, optimise costs, and minimise environmental impact. Your expertise will help our client maintain their reputation as a leader in sustainable cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and implementation of sustainability-focused cost management strategies.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide recommendations to ensure projects align with sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for cost savings through sustainable practices.
- Assess and manage the financial impact of sustainability initiatives on projects.
- Prepare and present cost reports that highlight sustainable practices and their financial implications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability and cost management.
- Support the client in achieving green certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM) by aligning cost management practices with certification requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on sustainability in cost management.

Key Requirements:

- Proven experience in cost management within the construction, infrastructure, or consulting sectors.
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles and their application in cost management.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver cost-effective and sustainable solutions on complex projects.
- Familiarity with green building certifications and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant qualifications in cost management, sustainability, or a related field.
- A passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental change.
