Why This Role?

This is a senior engineering role with real weight behind it. You’ll lead a team of engineers, shape how key systems are built and scaled, and work with technologies that power critical financial infrastructure.

It’s high-volume, high-impact work, processing stock grants, options, and other complex financial instruments at global scale. You’ll sit at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and leadership, making the kind of decisions that set the technical direction for the team.

The Opportunity

Lead and mentor an engineering squad delivering new experiences for major global clients

Develop scalable solutions in Java EE, working with REST services, enterprise messaging (ActiveMQ, Kafka), and relational databases (PL/SQL)

Work in a modern Azure environment with CI/CD pipelines

Drive design decisions, set engineering standards, and ensure high-quality delivery

Collaborate with other technical leads, architects, and business stakeholders to define clear, technically sound solutions

What They’re Looking For

7+ years’ experience in Java EE development on high-volume systems

Strong background in REST services, enterprise messaging (ActiveMQ, Kafka), and relational databases

Experience with PL/SQL, complex queries, and cloud environments (Azure, CI/CD)

Proven leadership — able to mentor, guide, and elevate engineering teams

Passion for clean code, automation, and continuous improvement

Strong communicator with a focus on delivering real business value
