Overview There are currently three permanent whole-time positions available. Two posts in WICOP Waterford: one based at the WICOP Integrated Care Hub in Waterford City and one in WICOP based in Dungarvan Community Hospital, with a key role in the Nursing Home Liaison service. One post in WICOP based in Wexford: based at the WEXICOP Integrated Care Hub, supporting integrated care services across Wexford.
Responsibilities Provide Clinical Nurse Specialist (General) expertise within Older Persons Care as relevant to the role.
Participate in or lead Nurse Prescribing of Medicinal Products as agreed, with required certification.
Participate in or lead Nurse Prescribing of Ionising Radiation as agreed, with required certification.
Complete the Joint Injection Course within an agreed timeframe.
