A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of a busy maintenance department. This is a permanent role based in a high-volume production environment, offering a competitive salary of €70K and operating on a 2-shift rotating pattern (6am-2:30pm and 8am-5pm).
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Manage preventive maintenance schedules, work requests, and downtime reporting.
Drive lean initiatives and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and audit standards.
Support recruitment, training, and development of technical staff.
Maintain accurate records using CMMS and contribute to KPI achievement.
Criteria
Electrical or Mechanical trade/engineering qualification.
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proven leadership experience in a supervisory role.
Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on technical knowledge.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and GMP/EHS standards.
Effective communicator with good IT skills.
