Overall Purpose of the Job:

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

- Possess in-depth knowledge of departmental imaging protocols and their clinical applications, ensuring proper alignment with surgeon or clinician requests.

- Exhibit a high level of clinical expertise, staying current with advancements in radiographic technologies and understanding their impact on patient care.

- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, both clinically and administratively, to optimize patient outcomes.

- Ensure consistent adherence to JCI (Joint Commission International) standards throughout the year.

- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address equipment issues, resolving at a local level before escalating to technical support or Medical Physics.

- Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic patient care, treating patients, families, and colleagues with dignity and respect.

- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and the multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

- Apply clinical knowledge to support best practices and uphold high standards in service delivery.

- Maintain flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment, willingly taking on additional duties as required.

- Uphold a patient-centered approach, with a consistent focus on empathy, respect, and professionalism.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

- BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography.

- Qualification must be recognized and validated by CORU.

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Radiography.

- Proven experience working effectively within a team of radiographers.

- Experience in CT, Mammo or Cathlab extremely beneficial
