Nurse - Leitrim (Apply Now)

Qualified General/Paediatric Nurses Required for the Leitrim area. MyHomecare is currently recruiting for the children with complex needs tender, which involves working one-on-one with a child with various disabilities in their own home. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working one-on-one with children in their own home and would also be a compassionate and reliable individual capable of working on their own initiative. We currently have different shifts available.

1. Rates of pay from €31.20 to €50 p/h.

My Homecare Registered Nurses must have the following:

1. In date and current NMBI pin.
2. Previous experience working with Children.
3. Willingness to undergo any training required.
4. All nurses are required to undergo Garda Vetting.
5. Nurses must be willing to register with the INMO or affiliated union.
6. Full immunizations and Vaccination history will need to be provided.

My Homecare Nursing Duties include the following:

1. Medication Management.
2. Seizure management including administration of buccal midazolam if required.
3. Nebulizer management.
4. Pain management.
5. Care of child with complex needs/disability.
6. Airway Management.
7. Suctioning.
8. Stoma care management.
9. Moving and handling /hoist and re-positioning.
10. Skin integrity management.
11. Professional boundaries/ Confidentiality.
12. Working in the home environment/lone worker.
13. Infection control and disposal of clinical waste.
14. CPR.
