Overview:
- Reporting to the Digital Project Lead, specifically responsible for DeltaV Systems.
- This role requires collaboration with digital teams managing automation and IT scopes, and vendors responsible for DeltaV DCS delivery.
Requirements
Role Functions:
- Review and approve related design documentation.
- Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system.
- Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development.
- Engage in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning, and testing.
- Follow SDLC procedures for implementing changes, including RS updates, RTM change control, implementation, and testing.
- Ensure software is implemented safely and with high quality.
- Configure and test in development systems as required.
- Educate local project teams on automation standards, technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments, and business processes.
- Collaborate with internal digital departments to ensure standardized and secure implementation aligned with client standards.
Knowledge, Skills, Education & Location Requirements
Required:
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- DeltaV standard and batch training completed, with 3 or more years of DeltaV application experience.
- Proven proficiency in business analysis on capital projects.
- Strong understanding of cGMPs, SDLC methodologies, and LEAN/MPS/Sigma principles.
- Excellent facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- This is a site-based role; occasional meetings at vendor premises or other sites may be required.
- Experience commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities.
