We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Technician to join our team in North Dublin. This role plays a critical part in maintaining our core commitment to customer focus while contributing to the overall efficiency and growth of the organisation. As Facilities Technician, you will manage all contracts and maintenance for our Dublin Distribution Centre, support sustainability efforts, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people. To succeed in this role, you should have significant experience in a similar logistics or storage business and a solid understanding of multi-temperature facilities and their operational demands. Key Accountabilities: Deliver a high-quality maintenance service, ensuring all works are carried out efficiently, effectively, and safely. Provide technical and maintenance support, input data, update equipment records, and contribute to continuous improvement. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Conduct electro-mechanical repairs on high-speed, PLC-controlled equipment as well as pneumatic and hydraulic control systems. Offer technical support for plant facilities, including compressed air and refrigeration systems. Perform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled. Maintain records in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including work updates and parts usage. Take ownership of daily work completion and accurate system logging. Requirements: Recognised trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive discipline. Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience and/or qualifications. Strong knowledge and awareness of health, safety, and quality standards. Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance systems. Skilled in fault finding and problem-solving. Willingness to work rotating shifts and travel if needed.
