We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (digital IT platform) for our tech client based in Dublin 4. It's a fully onsite role for 12 months initially offering a competitive package.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for experienced and skilled on-site maintenance engineers of the client's digital IT platform to support routine maintenance, upgrade, and local technical enablement of CLOUD digital platforms in Europe.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and stable operation of the infrastructure digital platform with the support of the R&D team and providing timely oncall technical support to ensure the continuity of the business and continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily maintenance of digital platform
Digital platform upgrade and optimization
Local technical training empowerment
Oncall technical support
Communication & collaboration

REQUIREMENTS

- Ideally Bachelor degree or above in computer science, information technology or related fields.
- IT operation and maintenance work experience
- Familiar with the maintenance and management of hardware equipment such as servers, network equipment, and storage systems
- Experience working or providing technical support in Europe is preferred
- Familiar with the basic concepts of cloud computing, experience in development and operation of cloud services is preferred
- Proficient in Linux system operation and management, and proficient in writing shell scripts.
- Candidates with Python and Java development experience will be preferred.
- Be familiar with cloud computing platforms and understand basic concepts such as microservice architecture, containers, and virtualization.
- Familiar with system design, operation and maintenance, analysis and troubleshooting under the microservice system model.
- Have good network troubleshooting capabilities and be familiar with TCP/IP protocol stack and common network diagnostic tools.
- Ability to communicate and document fluently in English AND Spanish/French/German.
- Have good communication skills and teamwork spirit, and be able to adapt to a cross-cultural working environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, able to withstand work pressure, and have the ability to learn and solve problems quickly.
