As a Property In house Desktop Loss Adjuster, you will act as a point of technical referral for both Household and Commercial Property claims. Duties and Responsibilities: From the Desk you will Pro-actively manage and handle a desktop portfolio of personal and commercial property claims including ongoing customer engagement, cost delivery and meeting individual customer needs. Work with our Motor & Liability Claims Teams in managing Third Party Losses. Drive Technical excellence in claims validation through effectively identifying and scoping work in line with policy cover and market rates. You will use your expertise and experience to provide training and upskilling of our existing property claims handlers from validation to settlement of property claims. Be able to demonstrate a capability of handling a variety of complex claims, identify market trends & provide strategic innovative solutions to improve Avivas Customer offering. Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate for this position will be CIP qualified as a minimum or have an equivalent qualification. Experience in Loss Adjusting or Property Claims Handling is a must. A full understanding of all regulatory frameworks, including the CPC/CICA, and GDPR is essential. The successful candidate will possess robust negotiation skills and have a strong focus on customer service. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Effective communication, presentation and reporting skills along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. What will you get for this role?
