This organisation provides comprehensive turnkey solutions across the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and handover stages of complex electrical and instrumentation projects. With a strong presence across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, the company serves key growth sectors including pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, food and beverage, data centres, and power transmission. The team culture is collaborative, innovative, and performance-driven, underpinned by a commitment to continuous professional development. Key Responsibilities: Lead the tendering process for large-scale national and international projects, including those in data centres, life sciences, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. Prepare accurate and detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and relevant documentation. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations and ensure cost-effective solutions. Analyse tender documentation to prepare clarifications, queries, and value engineering proposals. Attend and participate in pre- and post-tender meetings and interviews. Manage the interface between the estimating department and other internal teams to ensure timely and accurate tender submissions. Conduct comprehensive handover meetings with the operations team upon successful award of projects. Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Candidate Requirements: Minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience, ideally within an electrical contracting environment. Proven background in electrical estimating; experience with instrumentation or BMS systems is advantageous but not essential. A relevant third-level qualification in engineering, construction, or a related discipline. Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills.
