The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high value products that support our customers in providing excellent financial solutions. Must be a self-starter, take the lead and be able to work well with others, and communicate software changes to business partners, system analysts, QA engineers, etc.**The Expertise We’re Looking For*** You care about doing excellent work with excellent people.* You are **experienced with**a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks. 8+ years of experience working with Java, Springboot, REST API Microservices, Kubernetes, Lambda, AWS)* Experience with UI technologies (Angular, Javascript, Bootstrap, React or other UI framework)* You have hands-on **technical leadership** experience leading and mentoring scrum teams focused on building software solutions for business critical, architecturally distributed experiences.* You have **strong communication skills and technical expertise** to drive and influence in meaningful discussions with partners across business and architecture.* Application design & development experience across the following:* Experience with build, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, etc.)* Experience of Agile development practices and the value they bring to development teams* Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders* Consistent track record of leading teams in delivering full-stack technology solutions.**The Skills You Bring*** Produce high-quality code, with high test coverage, following processes, standards, and methodologies* Skilled in leading, motivating, and mentoring team members to consistently meet or exceed performance expectations* Ensuring systems in your assigned area are robust, resilient and stable* You will ensure the end-to-end delivery of requirements or user stories meets the needs and expectations of our business partners* A track record of mentoring junior team members* You will contribute to the financial health of many Fidelity Investment customers as part of one of the teams that support the variety of business interests that achieve this overarching goal**The Value You Deliver*** Work with a multi-functional team to understand project objectives, use cases and systems design requirements.* Development of original and creative/innovative technical solutions.* Delivery of quality code, with high test coverage, following Fidelity standard processes and methodologies* Look beyond individual business requirements considering the overall solution* You are a collaborative teammate who can work independently across local and distributed teams* Share your knowledge across the team.**How Your Work Impacts the Organization**The position aligns to the Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS) division of Fidelity Brokerage & Operations Technology (FBOT). IWMS group provide solutions in the Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) and correspondent clearing marketplace. Our engineering team provides software engineering, application development, project management, systems analysis, and production support for the flagship applications. Institutional Wealth Management Solutions (IWMS) group provides technical solutions for the Fidelity Institutional Business (FI).
