We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team at Source Civil Ltd. This will be a full-time, on-site role based in Dublin. The successful candidate will work closely with all management levels and will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the cost estimation and financial management of projects.
2. Supervise and manage the accurate and timely project delivery reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager.
3. Research, source, and negotiate the best quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.
4. Manage and control project costs including preparation of interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
5. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure effective cost management and value engineering.
6. Provide advice on contractual claims and variations, and support dispute resolution processes.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project costs and contracts.

Requirements:

1. A third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, measurement, and cost management principles.
4. Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
