Global Process Owner, re:Cycle Reverse Logistics
1 week ago
re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is an electronics processing, reuse, and recycling company that works to extend the life of used electronic equipment through reuse, repair, and recycling. We are a stand-alone company within the Amazon corporate family that provides services to other Amazon companies. We specialize in the handling of valuable electronic equipment that was originally used in data centers. Come join our team and be a part of history as we deliver results for the largest cloud services company on Earth
The re:Cycle Reverse Logistics team is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced and professional Global Process Owner (GPO) for Quality and Inventory Control. This role is an individual contributor role who will work on a global scale to turn today’s pain points into efficient, scalable, frustration-free processes. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about operational excellence: you love streamlining processes. You are a learner and doer at heart, with the confidence to take calculated risks quickly.
If you enjoy solving problems, leveraging data, and providing thought leadership in an ambiguous environment where you get to help write the playbook, then this may be for you. This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various operations, finance, and other support teams like Data Center Logistics and Amazon Cloud Logistics to identify and address cost opportunities across our network.
You will routinely collaborate with Site Leaders and operations teams to ensure our operations are meeting expected throughput KPI's and solving/understanding operational pain points that may be driving deviations.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, decisive, influential and innovative leader who can communicate a compelling and comprehensive set of outcomes to be achieved. You must have the presence and influence to define and enforce high standards for programs you implement and monitor at all levels. You must be comfortable with ambiguity, and can define structure, processes and standards that need to be improved.
The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail, unlimited curiosity, and a strong passion for continuous improvement.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in an industry role
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience working with cross-functional teams- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Background in data center operations or electronics recycling/refurbishment
- Track record of implementing standardized processes across multiple sites or regions
- Change management experience in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
