Logistics Manager

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead all warehouse, transport, and dispatch operations at our production site in Longford.
This person will ensure goods are stored and delivered safely, on time, and at the best cost, while leading a strong and motivated team.

Main Duties



Manage warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, order picking, dispatch, and returns.


Oversee transport using company and third-party fleets.


Control budgets and help reduce costs through efficient planning.


Keep accurate stock records and complete regular stock counts.


Lead and support improvement projects.


Work with sales and customer teams to maintain excellent service levels.


Manage day, evening, and night shifts across 7 days.


Ensure all staff follow health, safety, and quality procedures.


Plan team rosters, holidays, and overtime fairly and efficiently.


Train, coach, and develop staff to improve skills and performance.



Skills and Experience



Degree or diploma in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (or similar).


At least 5 years’ experience in a logistics or supply chain management role.


Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is an advantage.


Strong people management, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Confident using Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).


Lean or Six Sigma training would be helpful.


Practical, organised, and focused on continuous improvement.
