Durbay in Bray has a vacancy for a Full-time Bookseller. Duties and Responsibilities: We are looking for someone who: Can provide an outstanding level of customer care and exceed our standards in this area Is interested in selling and business growth, being proactive in achieving this Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with no hesitation in dealing with customers, colleagues, management and the trade Has a great interest in reading, books, current affairs and an eagerness to develop product knowledge Can rise to the challenge of a busy retail environment, which requires physical and mental stamina Is confident in dealing with operational procedures including shop opening/closing and cash handling Involvement in Festival and event work Managing web orders Person Specification Booksellers perform an important role in our organisation. We need someone to complement the passion and commitment of our existing team.
