We are hiring a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for some leading Nursing homes in Ireland. Job Description: Responsibilities: Serve as a skilled and knowledgeable practitioner specializing in elderly care. Actively contribute as a member of the Management Team, upholding high standards of professional and ethical conduct. Oversee the development and implementation of the service plan, regularly reviewing progress against objectives. Support and supervise the nursing team to deliver exceptional resident care and management. Provide innovative leadership, guidance, and support to nursing and allied staff across all levels. Ensure all staff adhere to Centre policies and procedures effectively. Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards and guidelines. Collaborate on the coordination of auxiliary services such as catering, cleaning, and laundry to ensure efficient operations. Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Director of Nursing. Requirements: Must be a qualified nurse with at least three years of managerial experience in elderly care within the past six years. A post-registration management qualification in medicine or a related field is required. Proven success in clinical management within a healthcare setting. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. A decision-maker with a results-driven approach. Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team environment.
