Responsibilities - Lead and manage all project activities, ensuring the successful delivery of outcomes across all areas. - Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and the wider community. - Provide strategic, operational, and contractual direction to the project team. - Champion health, safety, quality, and environmental initiatives, leading by example with visible leadership (including safety tours). - Promote a strong safety culture and maintain high standards of environmental awareness and behavior. - Drive high-quality project delivery through efficient planning and adherence to the "right first-time" practices. - Lead and motivate the project team, fostering high levels of commitment, morale, and motivation at all levels. - Maintain a cost-conscious approach by efficiently managing resources and driving value on the project. - Promote repeat business by cultivating strong client relationships and consistently meeting or exceeding their expectations. - Establish, maintain, and monitor a cost management system to ensure financial control, with accurate QF preparation and reporting. - Ensure that realistic project schedules are prepared, managed, and updated according to project and contract requirements. - Oversee the preparation, review, and briefing of method statements, activity plans, and risk assessments, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated. - Implement and maintain effective commercial and financial management systems for the project. Who We’re Looking For / Qualifications - A degree in Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Agent, ideally within construction project delivery. - Strong leadership and management capabilities, with a track record of effectively managing large construction teams. - In-depth knowledge of the latest building regulations and certification standards. - Ability to meet demanding deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes. - Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative. - As a Senior Structural Engineer, you’ll take the lead on complex design projects, ensuring technical excellence while guiding and mentoring junior team members. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with architects, contractors, and clients, delivering innovative structures.
